The violence whetted by religious fanatics has done unspeakable damage to the society we live in.
But this kid’s innocent gesture is almost like a balm to all the wounds left by religious wars. In a tweet that’s gone viral Twitter user named @rohansonalkar talks about the moment his daughter naively mixed Hinduism with Islam.
He wrote, “My daughter just said that she needs to do the namaz. She bent down in proper Muslim prayer form and started chanting the Gayatri mantra, because that’s the only prayer she knows.”

Children are the purest .. this reminded me of an embarrassing moment of my childhood when I was praying and religiously chanting ‘ agdam bakdam ( a fun song from the animated movie Hanuman ) thinking its a prayer 😂 https://t.co/sYA0jb9KXt

How adorable! Sometimes it’s the children who teach us what we need to know. “Mazhab nahi sikhata aapas mein bair rakhna”. https://t.co/A7HgqRGDRi

Absolutely brilliant! 👍
For all those who ever thought their ‘religion’ was something more than a set of imprints, this should settle it https://t.co/BIA4IobUmY
